Out of Office, a game by The Collected Works · Last updated 23 October 2026Playing without an account
You don't need an account to play. Your stats, the rooftop case studies you've found and the photos you take in photo mode are kept in your browser, on your device. Nothing about you is sent anywhere.
If you sign in with Google
Signing in is optional. It keeps your progress so you can pick it up on another device. When you sign in, we save:
- From your Google account: your name, email address, profile picture link, and Google's id for your account. We don't get your password or anything else from Google.
- Your game progress: your lifetime stats (runs, deliveries, best scores, distance driven, crashes) the rooftop case studies you've found, and the cans you've collected.
- The photos you take in photo mode while signed in.
Where it's kept, and who can see it
Your account is stored with Cloudflare, which hosts the game. Your photos are private: only you can see them in the game, and they're only shared if you choose to save or share one yourself. The people who run the game at The Collected Works can see the list of accounts (names, emails and game stats) in order to look after it. We don't sell your information, show you ads, or use trackers.
Visit counts and error reports
We count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. If something in the game breaks, your browser sends us the error message, the page it happened on and your browser's name and version, so we can fix it. That report has nothing about who you are and no account details, and we keep it for two weeks.
Deleting your account
Pause the game, open Your account and choose Delete account. That removes your account, your saved progress and your photos from our storage straight away. Progress kept on your own device stays until you clear your browser's data.
